People often begin with the term “skin booster”, but products grouped under that name can have very different materials and purposes. A more useful starting point is what you want to understand: dryness, skin texture, structural support, or a dark patch that needs its cause assessed? Then check the exact formulation and limitations of the product being considered.
This guide uses six lenses—BUILD, REPAIR, REPLACE / SUPPORT, REMODEL, HYDRATE and REVITALIZE—to organise those questions. They are editorial labels, not a formal medical classification, a ranking of strength, or a claim that products on the same branch can replace one another.

BUILD: look at materials associated with a tissue response
Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) particles; it is not an HA gel placed to reshape an area immediately. Juvelook Classic and Lenisna combine PDLLA with HA, but the distributor describes different purposes for the two variants. Sharing PDLLA does not show that they are interchangeable or produce the same result (Galderma Sculptra instructions, Juvelook, Lenisna).
Other materials people compare include Radiesse, which uses CaHA in a carrier gel; Ellansé, which uses PCL microspheres; and Gouri, which its manufacturer describes as solubilised PCL rather than Ellansé-type particles. Material differences do not establish a “best” product for everyone (Merz Radiesse instructions, Sinclair Ellansé, DEXLEVO Gouri).

REPAIR: identify the PN variant, not just the brand
PN, or polynucleotide, is a material shared by product families such as Rejuran, Plinest, Nucleofill and Vitaran. Even within one family, the formula, concentration and treatment area may differ. Newest is an example combining PN-HPT with HA and mannitol, so it is not simply PN alone (PharmaResearch Rejuran, Mastelli Plinest and Newest, BR Pharm Vitaran).
REPAIR is a memory aid here, not a promise that every product “repairs cells” or that an injection causes no local reaction. REPLACE / SUPPORT: injectable collagen has different origins
This group covers formulations containing collagen or a collagen component directly. It does not mean every formula replaces existing skin collagen in the same way. Manufacturer examples include Collaju with type I atelocollagen, TheraFill with collagen and lidocaine, Laetigen described as type I collagen, and Deusaderm Vital described as porcine-skin-derived collagen. Karisma Rh Collagen, by contrast, lists a recombinant collagen alpha-1 chain with HA and CMC. These should not all be described as one animal-derived formulation (Collaju, Cellontech TheraFill, Karisma).
Allergy history matters particularly here. The TheraFill manufacturer lists hypersensitivity to porcine protein or lidocaine as contraindications. Processing that reduces the telopeptide region does not remove all allergy risk. REMODEL: Profhilo is HA, not PLLA
According to IBSA, the original Profhilo uses hybrid cooperative complexes of high- and low-molecular-weight HA. It connects the REMODEL and HYDRATE questions, but should not be described as Sculptra, PLLA or a direct collagen injection. The Profhilo name also covers other products, including Structura; establish the variant before discussing its formula or price (IBSA Profhilo, IBSA Structura).

HYDRATE: the same material name does not mean the same HA formula
If dryness or skin texture is the main concern, identify the HA product being compared. Restylane Skinboosters Vital uses stabilised HA; Belotero Revive combines HA with glycerol; and the Juvéderm Volite study protocol describes HA with lidocaine. Profhilo also belongs in an HA discussion, but is not a second, separate product merely because it appears in two branches of this map (Galderma Vital instructions, Merz Belotero Revive Thailand instructions, Allergan Volite study protocol).
When prices are shown “per cc”, “per vial” or “per box”, do not compare the figures without the unit and variant. A suitable plan also depends on the area and concern assessed by the clinician.
REVITALIZE: mixed ingredients do not guarantee melasma treatment
NCTF 135 HA contains HA alongside several groups of ingredients according to FILLMED. Teosyal PureSense Redensity 1 also combines HA with other ingredients according to Teoxane. The presence of vitamins, amino acids or antioxidants is not evidence that either product treats melasma, reduces pigmentation or whitens skin (FILLMED NCTF technical summary, Teoxane product information).
If a dark patch or melasma is the concern, separate questions about the cause of the pigmentation from questions about hydration. Choosing on the word “glow” alone may miss the problem. Ingredient information should not be turned into a “skin-whitening injection” advertising claim (Thai FDA notice on injectable glutathione).

How are Juvelook and Rejuran different?
Juvelook Classic contains PDLLA with HA, whereas Rejuran is a PN product family. They are not the same type of product. Start with the exact variants and your skin concern, rather than the broad “skin booster” label sometimes applied to both (Juvetek Juvelook, PharmaResearch Rejuran).
How are Sculptra and Radiesse different?
Sculptra uses PLLA; Radiesse uses CaHA in a carrier gel. That changes what you need to ask about the formulation, plan and follow-up, but does not make either one right for everyone (Galderma Sculptra instructions, Merz Radiesse instructions).
Can I have injectable collagen if I am allergic to porcine protein?
Do not assume that every injectable collagen product has the same origin. For TheraFill specifically, its manufacturer lists hypersensitivity to porcine protein or lidocaine as contraindications. Disclose your allergy history and confirm the exact product before making a decision (Cellontech TheraFill).
How long does swelling last, and when can I wear makeup after an injection?
There is no single number that fits every product and person; this guide spans different materials and ways of using them. Follow the aftercare for the exact product used and your treating clinician's plan. If symptoms differ from what you were told to expect, or something feels unusual and concerns you, contact the treatment team for an assessment rather than using another product's review as a timetable.
How do the example unit prices compare?
Examples in WALEERAT's price system, checked again on 27 September 2026, are Rejuran Healer THB 9,999 per 2.7 cc syringe (two syringes per box), Juvelook Biostimulator THB 15,999 per vial, Collaju THB 18,999 per box, Profhilo THB 22,999 per vial (2 cc) and Sculptra THB 25,000 per vial. These are not total treatment-plan prices, and the units differ. Do not rank products by the numbers without considering quantity and purpose. Confirm the current price, variant, inclusions and availability with the clinic before booking.
In brief: start with the question that fits your skin
The six lenses separate materials and points to check: BUILD is not HYDRATE, PN is not PDLLA, and injectable collagen formulas do not all have the same origin. A product such as Profhilo can connect REMODEL and HYDRATE. Once you have identified your concern, compare the exact product variant, limitations, health history, follow-up plan and total plan cost before deciding.
